Hi there! I’m Dr. Nadya Tilluckdharry, or "Dr. T" as my clients like to call me. I grew up on the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago, and my journey has led me to Florida, where I’ve spent over a decade dedicated to helping individuals and families as a Licensed Psychologist.
I earned my Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, specializing in individual, group, and family therapy. My training ignited a passion for conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations, which play a crucial role in supporting children and adolescents in both public and private school systems in Trinidad and the USA.
As a mother, I truly cherish the opportunity to understand family dynamics and child development on a personal level. My professional experience includes being the only consulting psychologist for the Ministry of Education in Trinidad and Tobago’s Student Support Services Division, where I created many of the policies and procedures still used by mental health practitioners today. I've also worked at community mental health centers like the School-Related Psychological Assessments and Clinical Interventions (SPACI) Clinic and the Faulk Center for Counseling. Additionally, I completed my internship at the Institute for Child and Family Health, Inc. (ICFH) and a post-doctoral fellowship focused on school psychology at Nova Southeastern University, where I served as the primary school-based mental health provider.
Since becoming licensed to practice in Florida in 2015, I’ve worked to bridge gaps in services and psychoeducation for families in both Trinidad and the USA. I founded the Center for Child and Adolescent Psychological Services - Trinidad and Tobago (CCAPS-TT), which later expanded to include the West Indian Centre for Autism and Neuro-Development Clinic. My skills are constantly evolving to meet the needs of my clients, and I’m passionate about providing the best support possible. I’m dedicated to guiding you and your family toward a brighter, more fulfilling future!
